Petaluma has the Coolest Businesses.
About the Cool Business Collective
Cool Business members gather regularly to share ideas and best practices as we work together to build a healthy, happy, and planet-friendly city.
The Petaluma City Council unanimously adopted the Blueprint for Climate Action in 2024. Within that guiding document, there are many action items that only the business community can address.
Luckily, Petaluma is known as a longtime leader in planet-friendly business practices. Add that to the power of entrepreneurial energy, and we open up a whole new realm of possibilities.
Cool Petaluma is a nonprofit that inspires local climate action through community building. By creating a collaborative team spirit, we make it enjoyable to learn from each other and take action together. This collective effort becomes more powerful than the sum of its individual parts. And it’s more fun!
Cool Businesses work together to:
Build Community
Prepare for Emergencies
Rethink Consumption
Transform Transportation
Improve Buildings
Restore Nature
By using the power of good business, we can help protect the future for the next generation.
The Cool Business Collective gathers monthly to share ideas and best practices as we work together to build a healthy, happy, and planet-friendly city. This collective effort is more powerful, and it's more fun!
To become a business "member," we ask for this simple commitment:
Attend at least 5 meetings a year (as this is all about participation!)
Make a sliding scale monthly donation of $10-$20 per business (to cover basic costs)
We are excited to have you join us!
