Team Gathering Plan Worksheet
Team Leaders can use the Gathering Schedule Worksheets below to plan out their events.
How Teams Work:
Cool Petaluma is a grassroots nonprofit that inspires local climate action through community building. This team-based program brings people together so we can take care of each other while we take care of the planet. By working together, we are building a powerful movement from the ground up that will drive change at the top.
Getting started:
Volunteers are trained by Cool Petaluma to gather their neighbors or friends and kickstart community climate action by making a fun, welcoming environment for people to get curious, explore ideas, and take action together.
Working together:
To build strong connections and cover important topics, the team will spend time together over several months.
The team decides how often they want to meet - usually attending 2-hour gatherings once or twice a month for Phase 1 Building Resilience and Phase 2 Becoming Planet Friendly.
In just a few months, you and your team will accomplish SO much!
Continuing on:
Many teams then choose to continue on to Phase 3 Expanding Impact with larger community projects or quarterly gatherings.
Why Report Back:
Cool Petaluma is a nonprofit that needs proof of your participation to share with funders to keep this program free to the community. Please report back after each gathering so we can track your progress and tally our collective impact!
